How To Disable 2FA Login Requests


Disabling Login Requests for Two-Factor Authentication


For accounts with Meta Account Center:


  1. Go to your Instagram settings
  2. Navigate to Accounts Center
  3. Select Password and security
  4. Click on Two-factor authentication
  5. Select your Instagram account
  6. Go to Additional methods
  7. Turn OFF Login requests


For accounts without Meta Account Center:


If your Instagram account has two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, you can simplify the connection process by disabling the account's notification method. When this option is deactivated, Instagram will send a 2FA SMS or email to approve a login instead of an in-app notification.


Here are the steps to disable the 2FA notification method:


  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Security.
  3. Tap on Two-factor authentication
  4. Navigate to Additional methods
  5. Turn OFF Login requests
