How To Set Up Storrito 2FA

1. Navigate to the Instagram Accounts view in Storrito

Log into your Storrito account and navigate to the Instagram Accounts view.

2. Select the "2FA Authenticators" button

In the Instagram Accounts click 2FA Authenticators.

3. Click Setup

This opens the form for adding a new 2FA authenticator.

4. Add a New Authenticator

You’ll be asked to fill out the following fields:

Codename: Choose a short name to identify this authenticator. For example: Instagram, Google, or Work Account

Secret Key: Paste the TOTP secret key provided by the service (Instagram, Google, etc.). This is the same key you’d normally scan as a QR code into your authenticator app. To find this:

  • Open the Meta Accounts Center from your Instagram account

  • Select “Password and security”

  • Tap “Two-factor authentication”

  • Choose the Instagram account you wish to set up Storrito 2FA for, then select “Authentication app”

  • Instagram will now display either a QR code or a 32-character secret key: this number is what you will paste into Storrito during the setup.

Description (optional): Add an optional note, such as: Used for Instagram login on my phone

5. Save

Click Save to store the authenticator. A code will now be generated. Return to the Instagram app and press "Continue," then enter this code on the next screen. Go back to Storrito and press "Continue" to see an overview of your TOTP (2FA) devices.

Now your Storrito 2FA is ready to use!

Notes

  • Storrito supports standard TOTP-based authenticators like those used by Instagram, Google Authenticator, and others.
  • This setup is especially useful if you’re experiencing frequent login challenges or 2FA prompts from Instagram.
