How To Fully Refresh Your Instagram Connection On Storrito
Before you start
Before removing any connections, we strongly recommend reviewing your current Instagram security settings first: How to review your Instagram security settings after adding 2FA. If everything looks correct there and issues persist, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Remove the Instagram account from Storrito
Start by deleting the affected Instagram account from Storrito. This clears the existing login session.
- Open Storrito
- Go to the Instagram accounts overview
- Select the affected account
- Make a note of the device name listed under active connections
- Click "Delete"
Your schedule will automatically reappear once the account is reconnected. Nothing is lost!

Step 2: Remove Storrito devices from Meta’s login activity
Next, remove any Storrito-related devices from Instagram’s login history.
- Open Instagram
- Go to Accounts Center
- Select Password and security
- Click Where you’re logged in
- Under Logins on other devices, remove any Storrito-related devices.

Step 3: Remove Storrito devices from your "Trusted Devices" list
Instagram may also store older sessions as trusted devices. These need to be cleared separately.
- Stay in the Accounts Center
- Go to password and security
- Open two-factor authentication
- Select trusted devices
- Remove any Storrito-related devices from this list as well
This ensures no outdated data related to problematic login sessions remain on your account.

Step 4: Reconnect your Instagram account in Storrito
Once all old sessions are removed, you can reconnect your account.
- Return to Storrito
- Click Connect a new Instagram account
- Log in using your Instagram credentials
- Complete any security prompts from Instagram
Why this works
Instagram tracks login trust across:
- Active sessions
- Trusted devices
- Historical security flags
Fully removing old sessions allows Instagram to treat the new connection as trusted again.
