How to Change the Time zone in Windows

Note:

To change the time zone in Storrito, you must understand that Storrito uses the time zone of your browser.
Your browser in turn is based on the time zone of your computer.
So we have to adjust the time zone in your system settings of your computer to finally change it in Storrito.

Quick Guide with Keyboard Shortcuts

Press `Win + I`: This opens the Settings directly.
Navigate to "Time & Language" and then to "Date & Time."
Turn off "Set time zone automatically" and select the desired time zone from the drop-down menu.
Scroll to Additional Settings and click "Sync now" to update all apps to the current time zone.
Restart your Browser.

Step by step instructions:

Step 1: Open Settings

Click on the Start Menu: This is the Windows icon in the lower left corner of your screen.
Select the Gear Icon: This will open the Settings menu.

Step 2: Go to Time & Language

Click on "Time & Language": This can usually be found in the middle of the Settings menu.

Step 3: Change Time Zone

Select "Date & Time": This is the first option on the left side of the "Time & Language" menu.
Turn off "Set time zone automatically": If it is turned on, switch it off so you can manually change the time zone.
Choose the Desired Time Zone: Click on the drop-down menu under "Time zone" and select your desired time zone.

Step 4: Verify the Change

Check the Time: Ensure the time on your computer is correct and corresponds to the selected time zone.
Optional Setting: If desired, you can enable "Automatically adjust for daylight saving time."

Step 5: Sync Your Settings

Go to Additional Settings: In the "Date & Time" section, scroll down to find "Additional settings."
Click "Sync now": This button is important to ensure all apps, including your browser, are updated to the current time zone.

Step 6: Close Settings

Close the Settings Window: Once you've made the changes, you can close the window.
And restart your browser.
